Ronnie Humber was only five years old when his world suddenly became a little brighter again. For more than a year and a half, he had missed his beloved cat, Phoenix. The orange-furred companion had disappeared one day without warning, leaving behind an empty space in the family’s home and in Ronnie’s heart.

Flyers were posted, and every time a ginger cat was spotted nearby, they rushed to see if it might be Phoenix.
